These Royals will ruin you…

From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.

Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.

Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.

No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.

They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

This story contains a “hate-to-love” relationship journey between the two main characters, Ella Harper and Reed Royal. The series is centered around 17-year-old Ella Harper. In Book 1: Paper Princess, Ella is all alone after losing her mother and never knowing her father. Then in comes Callum Royal–Ella is soon thrown into a world of mansions, prep schools, and having to deal with five Royal boys who all hate her. Especially Reed Royal.

My Review

First, I just want to say: I CANNOT believe this beautiful trilogy is over!!! It’s been a wild ride over the course of three books, but I’ve LOVED every. Single. Word.

“This house is ridiculously large, ridiculously beautiful, but everyone inside of it is so messed up. Including me. I guess I really am a Royal.”

Twisted Palace is told from both Ella and Reed’s point of view. It picks up right were Book 2: Broken Princeleft off– with a murder, dealing with betrayal, and now a race against time to clear Reed’s name. For Ella, helping Reed isn’t the only challenge she has. With Steve’s return, she now has the task of adjusting to life with a father.

Unlike books 1 and 2, there’s a little less of the secondary characters and their stories; mainly to focus on Ella and Reed’s challenges. However, you do continue to learn a little more about Dinah and Jordan. And there are still some significant appearances by Easton (my favorite!), Val, and Wade.

What I love most about Twisted Palace is the growth of Ella, Reed, and the entire Royal family relationship. Ella never backed down or broke after being thrown into the world of the Royals—she continued to get stronger and always fought for what she believed in. Before Ella came along, Reed had it all—money and status, and cared about no one outside of his family. He grew into a better person with Ella in his life. Also, the Royal men desperately needed a female figure in their lives again, and she was the key to bringing them back together as a “family.”

The Royals are one of my top favorite 2016 reads!

Thank you, Elle Kennedy and Jen Frederick for this amazing series! And for the opportunity to take part in the ARC Group!

I can’t wait for Easton’s story!! 🙂
